Fool Proof Ganache
Ganache can dress up any casual dessert to elegance! You can always freeze the extra for a quick dessert topping.
Ingredients
- ½ cup heavy whipping cream OR the thick part of a can of coconut milk
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 4 ounces bittersweet chocolate chopped (chocolate chips work too and are easier to melt)
- ½ tsp. vanilla (optional)
Directions
Heat cream and butter in a saucepan until butter is melted and cream is warm, but not boiling. Placing cream and butter in a glass bowl in the microwave is fine too.
Remove from heat and add chocolate and vanilla.
Using a large fork, patiently stir until all the chocolate is melted.
Place the ganache in the refrigerator until it thickens slightly.
Pour over your cooled dessert. Place the dessert in the refrigerator to set.
