A Beautiful Tapestry
I married my husband, Ryan, ten years ago. Our family is a beautiful representation and picture of God’s love extending across all boundaries. I am sure when people see us out trying to fit everyone together is a puzzle! We fostered and adopted our beautiful fair headed daughter who was a blessed surprise to us. Ryan has a daughter and son, both adults, and I have two sons, one college age and one just out of college and beginning his career. We are so proud of all our children.
We cherish and appreciate any time we have with our children. We love to be active and outdoors – biking, camping, kayaking, hiking, fishing, cross country skiing and just enjoying God’s nature. All the men hunt and our 11 year daughter is learning. We will share some photos of the beautiful Wisconsin places we visit on this website as well. Winter can get a little long, but we love the seasons which are an apt reflection of life.
Blended family life is a challenge, but it exemplifies and magnifies God’s love in all areas of life. We are so grateful to be celebrating our 10 year anniversary. If you are considering remarriage, reading Ron Deal’s The Smart StepFamily (link) is a good place to start.
